Sublimation

Dye Sublimation, as a process is really very simple. It is the method of applying an image to specially coated ceramics, metals and polyester cloth. There are three main ingredients: sublimation ink, heat and pressure. The high temperature – from a heat transfer press – opens the pores of the polymer and allows the gas to enter. When the temperature drops, the pores close and the gas write your paper in 3 hours reverts to a solid state. The print then becomes part of the polymer. We use this process to decorate items like T-shirts, coffee mugs, plaques, name badges, and many more items all in beautiful vibrant color.
